Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

BSN required.
-
Master’s degree preferred (MSN or health related field).
-
Registered Nurse, State of
-
Current professional nursing practice concepts and principles, critical thinking and problem solving skills, nursing unit operation on a 24 hour basis.

Management concepts and principles with the ability to apply supervision, delegation, planning, organizing, directing and evaluating,
-
Able to handle emergency situations, develop agenda, maintain minutes and records of Nurse Practice Council activities, conduct meetings and ensure information is disseminated,
-
Develop inservices as necessary, work closely with staff responsible for performance improvement, staff education and development and infection control.
-
Skilled in promoting positive relations when interacting with patients or other customers.
